The department strives every year to provide a quality education that meets students' needs and makes them future-ready. In our classroom, we strive to innovate with lecture and student-centric methods such as role plays, simulations, group assignments, discussions, debates, case-study, etc. The department incorporates several best practices into its curriculum, including peer mentoring, holistic development programs, social outreach programs, publication of research papers, and skill
enhancement programs. The Christ College Commerce Association (CCCA) provides a platform to foster innovation, nurture skills, and build leaders through various commercial and cultural activities. Our experienced faculty is the strong pillar of the department, whose focus is to empower a diverse community of students to nurture their capabilities, transform their lives and
find success through high-quality teaching-learning processes. We also encourage students to organize events, participate in other events organized by other colleges, and get involved in activities of social relevance. By participating in various college fests, our students have received numerous accolades. As a Christite community, we are incredibly proud of our alumni who have carried on the legacy of Christite and demonstrated their mettle in a wide range of fields.

The Department of Commerce, CHRIST COLLEGE - PUNE, came into existence in 2007 to offer a B.Com program and has been touching heights since then. It started the post-graduation program M.Com in 2010. Today, the Department of Commerce has evolved as an axis of excellence. We offer students the best quality Education and Training to shape their careers for a sustainable corporate world. The Department of Commerce aims to provide academically efficient and professionally relevant accounting and finance teaching. The department also equips potential candidates to face the challenges in life and their careers by providing many value-added Programs to enhance their expertise & skills in various aspects. We provide students with every bit of opportunity to carve them into the impeccable professionals they have always dreamed of becoming, be it group mentoring, individual mentoring, or collaborative research publications, because at Christ, we believe in quality, we push our children to amaze themselves and set the lane for their future.

It has been reflected in the Rankings bagged by the Commerce Department as an outcome.
